Karrier Connected: January Recap & 2024 Year in Review

Greetings, Karrier One Community!
Welcome to our annual newsletter recap, where we spotlight the major highlights and milestones we achieved in 2024. From new partnerships and product launches to attending global conferences, it has truly been a landmark year for Karrier One.

January — Sui Foundation Investment & Early Adopter NFTs

• Sui Foundation Partnership
  In January, we announced a significant investment from the Sui Foundation, jumpstarting our DePIN technology and enabling us to launch Karrier One Network exclusively on the Sui blockchain.
• Early Adopter NFTs
  Following that partnership, we opened minting for our Early Adopter NFT, granting holders guaranteed KNS numbers, future airdrop eligibility, and a head start in our ecosystem. Demand surged; within weeks, 75% of the collection minted out.

February — Karrier Pigeons & ETHDenver

• Karrier Pigeons Airdrop
  February kicked off with the airdrop of our Karrier Pigeons collection to Early Adopter NFT holders, celebrating our first “thank you” to the community. This fun PFP set bridges telecom and Web3, symbolizing the old-world concept of pigeons delivering global communications.
• ETHDenver & Sui Connect
  Our team visited ETHDenver to showcase Karrier One’s progress. We also spoke at Sui Connect, discussing how we integrate with the Sui chain, Move, and bridging beyond EVM. The month ended with the unveiling of our first technical whitepaper, covering how the Karrier One Network & Chain will function.

March — Zealy Campaign & KNS Progress

• Longest Zealy Campaign
  We wrapped up our longest Zealy campaign yet in early March and launched a new one. These interactive campaigns gave our community ways to earn rewards and engage deeply with Karrier One’s ecosystem.
• KNS Development
  Behind the scenes, our dev team pushed ahead with the Karrier Number System (KNS) — our unique solution for phone-number–based identity, SIM‑swap protection, and verified connectivity across Web3. A tokenomics paper was also teased, priming the community for upcoming airdrops.

April — Sui Basecamp & Further Radio Deployments

• Sui Basecamp Sponsorship
  We sponsored and attended Sui Basecamp in Paris, forging new partnerships and connecting with Sui’s thriving builder ecosystem. CEO Samer Bishay joined a panel on decentralized wireless, fueling excitement around Karrier One’s global vision.
• Radio Deployments
  We continued to expand with new radio deployments in the United States and beyond — paving the way for real-world usage of the Karrier One Network.

Mid-Year & Beyond — Technical Progress, Community Growth

• KNS Milestones & Whitepaper
  We unveiled a revised technical whitepaper in late Q2, detailing the KNS approach, gatekeeper nodes, and the eventual $KONE token rollout. Enthusiasm spiked as the community awaited details on airdrops, staking, and device incentives.
• Community Growth
  Across Q2 and Q3, our Twitter/X following soared from under 1,000 to over 14,000, while Discord ballooned to 25,500+ users. We also refined NFT giveaways (Legendary Pigeons) and teased new partnerships.

Q3 & Q4 — Expanding Globally & Regulatory Wins

• Spectrum Acquisition & MNO Status
  A highlight of Q4 was our successful bid on Canadian mid-band spectrum blocks, upgrading Karrier One to full Mobile Network Operator (MNO) status. This milestone cements our independence and positions us to deploy more advanced decentralized radio networks.
• Wi‑Fi Hotspot Launch
  We launched a global rollout of Karrier One Wi‑Fi Hotspots, allowing participants to offload carrier data in exchange for KONE tokens. Community members worldwide can now earn by hosting a simple plug‑and‑play device.
• Partnerships & Conferences
  Our presence at events like Token2049 and Sui Builder Houses reinforced the synergy between Karrier One and the larger Sui ecosystem. We also joined with EDCH for eSIM technology and engaged with multiple DePIN collaborations (Panzerdogs, etc.).

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we close out 2024, we’re gearing up for an even bigger 2025. From the upcoming $KONE token launch and expanded KNS functionality to further global radio deployments, device rollouts, and new features — our roadmap remains jam-packed. We’ve only just begun to showcase the revolutionary potential of decentralized telecom.
